Overview
“Discover the stories that shaped the skies.”
This project was developed in collaboration with the London Aviation Museum to improve its digital experience and audience engagement. Working within a team of five, the goal was to create a more accessible, informative, and visually cohesive platform that reflects the museum’s history and community presence.

As Project Manager, I led the team through each phase of the project, ensuring alignment between design, content, and user needs while maintaining clear communication and workflow efficiency.
The Process
Research & Discovery
Project Planning & Team Coordination
We began by analyzing the museum’s existing website and identifying key usability issues. Audience research and competitor analysis helped define user needs and highlight opportunities for improvement.
I established project timelines, delegated tasks, and facilitated regular check-ins to keep the team aligned. Clear communication and structured workflows ensured that all members could contribute effectively.
Content Strategy & Information Architecture
Wireframing & UX Design
We restructured the site’s content to improve navigation and clarity. This included organizing information into intuitive categories and refining messaging to better engage visitors.
Low- and mid-fidelity wireframes were developed to map out the user journey. These designs prioritized accessibility, ease of navigation, and a logical flow of information.
Visual Design, Branding & Marketing
Final Presentation & Delivery
The interface was refined with a cohesive visual style that reflects the museum’s identity. Typography, imagery, and layout were carefully considered to balance historical content with a modern presentation. A full scale marketing plan was also put in place including social media, print ads, a scavenger hunt app, and classroom integration.
The final concept was compiled into a polished presentation, showcasing the redesigned experience and key improvements. As Project Manager, I led the presentation and communicated our design decisions and outcomes.
Marketing Materials
As part of a collaborative project with the London Aviation Museum, I developed a series of marketing materials designed to enhance visitor engagement and modernize the museum’s visual presence.

My work focused on translating historical aviation content into clear, visually compelling designs that appeal to a broad audience. This included creating digital and print assets that highlight key exhibits, improve accessibility of information, and support educational storytelling. A key area of focus was showcasing underrepresented narratives—such as the contributions of women in aviation during WWII—through engaging layouts and content-driven visuals.

Throughout the project, I considered user experience, readability, and platform adaptability, ensuring that all materials could function effectively across web, social media, and on-site displays. I also contributed to maintaining a cohesive visual identity aligned with the museum’s brand while introducing a refreshed, contemporary design approach.

This work reflects my ability to combine research, storytelling, and design strategy to create meaningful, audience-focused marketing solutions.
Impact & Outcomes
The project resulted in a more user-friendly and visually cohesive digital experience for the London Aviation Museum. The redesigned structure improves navigation, making it easier for visitors to access key information such as exhibits, events, and educational resources.

From a team perspective, the project demonstrates strong leadership and collaboration skills. By managing timelines, coordinating tasks, and maintaining clear communication, I ensured the successful delivery of a complex, multi-phase project.

This work highlights the ability to balance strategy, design, and teamwork—showcasing not only design execution but also the critical role of project management in achieving cohesive and impactful results.
